{"id":6535,"date":"2024-12-10T19:26:28","date_gmt":"2024-12-10T19:26:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/really.zonky.org\/?p=6535"},"modified":"2024-12-10T19:26:29","modified_gmt":"2024-12-10T19:26:29","slug":"brian-wont-be-the-last-ceo-killed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/really.zonky.org\/?p=6535","title":{"rendered":"Brian Won&#8217;t Be The Last CEO Killed"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>I&#8217;ve missed most of this story &#8211; how someone <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Killing_of_Brian_Thompson\">gunned down<\/a> the CEO of <strong>UnitedHealth<\/strong>. That&#8217;s because I&#8217;ve had my own healthcare issues ironically enough. And was taken care of by the NHS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I&#8217;ve even missed most of the social media response which was apparently less than totally sympathetic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Killing someone is wrong; even if you see it as some form of justice. Justice involves a trial with members of the community involved in the decision of guilt or innocence. Without that it becomes just personal revenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what if the community won&#8217;t prosecute and judge someone&#8217;s crimes?
